Passport & Visa Advisors, LLC (PVA) serves as an independent agent only on behalf of passport and visa applicants. We accept no responsibility for the services of US Passport Services of the U.S. State Department or any Consulate or Embassy regarding the timeliness, issuance or correctness of passports or visas. The issuance or decisions to grant a passport or visa rests exclusively with the government in question. In most cases, refunds from governments are not available regardless of request outcome.

PVA accepts no responsibility for delays, loss of passports or other materials or documents occasioned by any Embassy, Consulate or US State Department. Damage compensation is not available from PVA. Further, completed passports and visas are normally sent by FedEx, UPS, United States Postal Service, independent courier or airline package services and loss/damage during their course of services are subject to the conditions set by the individual companies or government agency. Since we have no control over these situations PVA is not responsible for any loss or delays incurred for shipments consigned to these or any other delivery services.

Information provided through this web site is provided on an as-is basis and should not be construed as factual or accurate as international polices change frequently.

General Notice

Requirements and fees related to the processing of passports and visas change regularly and without notice. Examples of changes could include, but not limited to, embassy visa requirements, physical applications, lead times, submission days, supporting documents and cost. While PVA strives to provide current and complete information, PVA cannot and does not guarantee that the information supplied is the most current and complete. New requirements can be requested by the US Passport Agency or sovereign nation issuing the visa at any time during the applications process and PVA is not responsible for such changes or for any client loss, costs or delay relating to any unexpected changes.

Although PVA has two sets of separate quality control the ultimate responsibility of checking the accuracy of the passport and visas obtained falls on the traveler. It’s the responsibility of the traveler to verify that all the visa/s required have been obtained for each country for the entry and exit dates and the number of entries during travel. The traveler should also confirm personal data and passport validity are correct as well. . The passport should be valid for six months beyond return to the USA. Airlines can deny access to international air travel if a passport expires in less than six months. If any questions arise from this concern contact your airlines first, review the US State Department’s website at www.travel.state.gov. PVA will assist if a renewed passport is required.

Limited Liabilities

PVA’s is limited only to the PVA service charges exclusively not including shipping, expeditor fees, ancillary fees or consular fees. Specifically:

Passport & Visa Advisors LLC (PVA) maximum liability for all loss or damage from any cause or fault whatsoever, including but not limited to loss of or damage to a passport during the course of visa or passport processing, is limited to the service fees charged to the client for services rendered. Not included in this liability are the costs associated with consular & expeditor fees, shipping, ancillary fees such as, but not limited to money order fees, processing fees and any other fee associated with the transaction.

PVA will not be liable for any damages, costs and expenses from any cause or fault whatsoever, and including but not limited to liability for travel interruption, changes in travel or prevention or limitation of travel and resulting costs and expenses, whether such damages, costs or expenses be direct, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or otherwise, and including but not limited to loss of income or profits, in excess of the PVA service fees paid by customer for visa or passport processing, regardless of circumstances, whether or not PVA had knowledge that such damages might be incurred and whether or not PVA may be, or may be responsible for, a contributing cause.

PVA will not be responsible in any respect or for any amount for loss or delay caused by events that we cannot or do not control, including but not limited to force majeure; inclement weather conditions; government temporary closings; acts of public enemies, war, strikes, civil commotions, or acts or omissions of public authorities (including passport and embassy consular officials).

PVA is not responsible for the actions (or inaction) of Embassy, Consular and/or U.S. Passport Agency officials and personnel. On occasion Embassies, Consulates and the U.S. Passport Agency may request revised or additional documentation to assist their decision making process. PVA is not and shall not be responsible for the actions and inactions of Embassies, Consulates and the U.S. Passport Agency. Processing time for visas and passports quoted to the client are approximations based on our experience with Embassies, Consulates and the Passport Agency in usual circumstances, and are deemed reliable in most cases but are not guaranteed. If a passport or visa application is denied there is no guarantee the government authorizing entity will divulge why they rejected the application. PVA and our associates will try to determine if additional information might change their position, but we have no influence on their decision making process.

Each country’s requirements for passports and visas and related information are established by sovereign nations and are subject to change without notice. While PVA strives to provide current and complete information, PVA cannot and does not guarantee that the information supplied is the most current and complete. PVA is not and shall not be responsible for such information.

Refund Policy

PVA refund policy is based on the status of the services provided as well as the status of the order at the time of cancellation request.

Advisory/Consultative

  • if appointment is cancelled 24 hours before the previously set appointment all funds collected will be refunded
  • any appointment cancelled (but not rescheduled) within 24 hours of the previously set appointment 50% of all funds collected will be refunded
  • any appointment missed is not eligible for refund

Standard Service

  • if a PVA appointment is cancelled 24 hours before the previously set appointment all funds collected will be refunded
  • any PVA appointment cancelled (but not rescheduled) within 24 hours of the previously set appointment 50% all funds collected will be refunded after the beginning of the client’s document prep session, PVA service fees are non-refundable
  • if a cancellation request comes after the application has been sent off to the client’s expeditor* of choice, the client will need to contact their selection regarding their refund policy

Premium Service

  • if a PVA appointment is cancelled 24 hours before the previously set appointment all funds collected will be refunded
  • any PVA appointment cancelled (but not rescheduled) within 24 hours of the previously set appointment 50% all funds collected will be refunded after the beginning of the client’s document prep session, PVA service fees** are non-refundable
  • if a cancellation request comes after the application has been sent off to PVA’s expeditor of choice, PVA will need to contact their selection regarding their refund policy. The refund policy of the vendor selected will apply

* Expeditor refund policy vary significantly. PVA can assist with your selection if requested

** Any PVA services provided such as evaluation of documents, filling out application for the traveler or order ETA/VOA visas from our expeditor partners are not refundable after the fact

Use of Personal Information

Passport Visa Advisors (PVA) may gather information about you through your use of our website and services in three ways.

The design of the electronic commerce systems supported on the PVA website is such that financial data remains primarily with appropriate financial institutions and customer data is limited access by employees, affiliated businesses, partners, and agents with username, password and PIN login combinations changed at regular intervals.

Privacy Policy
