We offer two full-service U.S. passport expediting options for international parents of surrogacy-born babies.:
Option 1: Local Application at an Acceptance Facility
For parents who are not near one of the 26 U.S. Passport Agency locations, this is the most common choice. We prepare a complete Passport Application Kit, including all required documents, passport-style photos, pre-filled forms with “sign here” tabs, and a step-by-step guide. Then parents submit their baby’s passport application at one of the 10,000 Acceptance Agency locations across the U.S., where an agent seals the baby’s passport application and returns it to the parents to be mail to PVA. Once received, we personally submit the application for processing and return the completed passport via overnight shipping.
Option 2: Direct Submission at a Regional Passport Agency
For parents in or near one of the 26 Regional Passport Agency locations, this option allows for fastest processing. We prepare a complete Passport Application Kit, book your appointment at the Passport Agency, and give detailed instructions for a seamless experience. Parents submit the application in person and can typically collect the passport within 1-2 days.
