Effective 10/23/2023, the US Passport lead times are now 8-11 weeks and 5-7 weeks for standard and expedited processing times, respectively. 

Keep in mind that the lead times quoted do not reflect mailing times to and from the Passport Agency

“With this update, we have fulfilled our commitment to return to benchmarks from March 2020,” the department said in a statement.
